Stopped by on the way home and was presently surprised. We were greeted by a very friendly host who made us feel welcomed. Only tried a couple of halves as I was driving and very nice. Purchased a box of 8 to try at home. We will go back soon.

Friendly owners and amazing beer 😊

Passionate about beer and it shows! Excellent beer range available with hosts that take the time and engage with their clientele. Fantastic accessibility for us wheelchair users, but I also note that they accommodate dogs and even non-drinkers (drivers) too! Now often supported with the addition of an excellent range of food trucks for takeaway or dine in. An ale drinkers paradise.

After some nice walk you can enjoy pint (or half) one of the local beer and eat a bit if you hungry. You can watch production of it through the glass wall when you testing! You drive to it well...you can take home!

A lovely little Microbrewery with really friendly and informative owners. A good selection of very tasty ales and it was great to be able to enjoy them whilst sitting outside in the sun. My only small criticism is that the gravity fed delivery system means it does take a while to pour a pint - but, when you're chilling out in the lovely Suffolk countryside, I suppose waiting that little bit longer for your pint means you'll probably enjoy it just that little bit more. I look forward to returning next time I'm in Clare.

Excellent microbrewery. Always something good on. Beer is brewed on site and you can look through the large viewing windows. Barry snacks served such as crisps and black country pork scratchings. Wines and local spirits also served. Always a must when in clare. Worth the walk.

Thank you and Sarah and Mark for helping us arrange a 30th birthday at the brewery. The venue is beautiful and the beer is absolutely brilliant. We as great to learn about the beer and of course drink some and take some home. We had a fantastic time! Thank you & can’t wait to come back!

Lovely beer, friendly bar staff, lovely location and great prices

Having trying a range of Roughacre beers (not the larger) I enjoyed each and everyone of them. I need to make sure I collect a few extra the next time. Looking forward to when the taproom is up and running.
